What’s the story behind WellJoy?

We’re proud to be a Kent Family Brand. Family-owned since 1927, Kent has been leading the way for people, animals and pets for nearly 100 years. That means doing things differently. Not for the sake of it, but to create meaningful opportunities to make things better for the animals we love.

That’s why WellJoy was created: to become an option for pet lovers when it comes to treats and supplements that taste good and do good.

Is WellJoy vet-formulated?

We’re proud to say that as well as being whole-heartedly pet-approved, our entire range is vet-formulated, too. Every treat and supplement we make is created to meet pets’ needs — as well as their Pet Loyalists’ standards.

This wouldn’t be possible without close collaboration with vets. Their expertise has guided our entire process – from formulation to testing – to make sure every ingredient delivers the right boost of wellbeing to every pet.

Is WellJoy’s packaging fully recyclable?

WellJoy’s packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. Our pouches are made from polyethylene (PE), and our tubs are made from white high-density polyethylene (HDPE).

Our pouches are recyclable through in-store drop-off programs. Please wipe and dry them before recycling, to make sure they can be processed and recycled quickly and easily. 

The HDPE our tubs are made from is one of the most widely accepted materials in curbside recycling programs. Simply rinse before placing in your curbside recycling bin. You can check with your local recycling program if you’re unsure what’s accepted in your area.

Where is WellJoy made?

We’re proud to say that every one of our treats and supplements in made in USA with globally-sourced ingredients.

How do I store WellJoy?

Reseal your pouch, or put the lid securely back on your tub and store your packs of WellJoy in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

We recommend keeping treats in their original containers and not transferring to any other vessel.

Why is gut health so important that GutBoost™ is in every product?

When everything is well in the gut, a ripple effect of top-to-tail wellbeing will follow. That's why our GutBoost™ biotic blend is in each and every one of our products. 

The blend of enzymes, prebiotics and probiotics in our treats, and enzymes, prebiotics and postbiotics in our supplements work to repair the gut microbiome, so the gut can better absorb nutrients into the body, to help maximize every ingredient in our treats and supplements formulations.

What are drivers that impact gut health?

Just like humans, pets’ gut health can be influenced by diet, stress, age, and even their environment. A healthy gut helps with digestion, nutrient absorption, immune support, and mood. That’s why WellJoy includes ingredients like prebiotics and fiber to help keep things balanced, from the inside out.

What are signs of poor gut health?

For best results, follow the recommended usage and monitor your cat's progress — and joy! — over time.

Can WellJoy be combined with my cat’s multivitamins?

No one knows better than you, how unique your cat is. So we say yes, typically WellJoy can be used alongside your cat's multivitamin routine - but we recommend consulting your trusted veterinarian if you have any specific concerns or questions about combining them with existing multivitamins and medication.

How do these chews help my cat’s gut?

With our GutBoost™ biotic blend in every bite, we make sure cats get a boost of wellbeing where it matters most. That’s why our biotic blend is not only beneficial to overall gut health, it also helps boost the effectiveness of every single ingredient in each recipe.

By keeping everything in the gut in balance, WellJoy will give your cat what they need, exactly where and when they need it. 

In our treats, it’s a mix of enzymes, prebiotics and probiotics, and in our supplements it’s a mixture of enzymes, prebiotics and postbiotics.

1) Whether your pet is a cat or a dog, and
2) What their weight is.

With wellbeing they’ll feel, and joy you’ll both share, we want your pets to try, and to love, WellJoy. If they don’t, we offer a full money-back guarantee.

If you and your pet aren't completely satisfied with our product, you may request a refund or replacement within 60 days of purchase, provided the product is not past its expiration date.

What's the WellJoy Effect?

What makes a Pet Loyalist? (And how do I know if I am one?)

You’re reading an FAQ on a pet treats and supplement brand website, so our guess is that you’re already 100% a Pet Loyalist.

WellJoy believes that every pet parent is different, but Pet Loyalists are united by the core belief that we owe our cats and dogs complete loyalty and devotion. We understand the very real fact that our pets rule!

Think of the Pet Loyalists as part-personal assistant, part-caretaker and full-time wellness advocate to a VIP (Very Important Pet). We have our pet’s best interests at heart.

Ultimately, we’ll go to the greatest lengths for our pets, even if it means taking second position ourselves. But second best is never good enough when it comes to the products we choose and brands we back.
